Author Cherie Walters, Ed.S' New Book, 'A Crown of Gold Leaf' is a Melodic Collection of Poems Displaying the Cycle of Life and the Deep Feelings of Grief

Recent release "A Crown of Gold Leaf" from Covenant Books author Cherie Walters, Ed.S is a compilation of poetry that envelopes feeling of loss and grief, whether it be from a person, a pet, or unexpectedly, a thing of nature. The cycle of life is represented vividly through these poems to validate and express emotions and feelings.

Cherie Walters, Ed.S, a recently widowed mother from Georgia who holds a master's in education, has completed her new book, "A Crown of Gold Leaf": a collection of symbolic poetry.

Walters shares, "A Crown of Gold Leaf is a collection of poems that captures the feelings of those who have suffered a great loss. The loss may be the result of a failed relationship or a distance beyond one's control.  More tragically, it may be caused by the death of a spouse, friend, or sibling. Even the loss of something in nature can cause unexpected grief. However, this is a book about the inevitable cycle of life, sometimes sad but often filled with precious memories. It honors the life of those who have crossed the great divide and the courage of those whom they have left behind. After a time, it will be the good things that we, in grief, cling."

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Cherie Walters, Ed.S' new book of poems will offer encouragement and validation to those feeling the deeply crippling effects of loss and grief through the roller coaster of emotions that it brings.

Readers can purchase "A Crown of Gold Leaf" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
