Donald Jack Wright's New Book 'My Vietnam Story and Service in the United States Marines' Shares a Former Soldier's Service During the Vietnam War

Recent release 'My Vietnam Story and Service in the United States Marines' from Covenant Books author Donald Jack Wright is an evoking true account of the author's duty as a soldier in the Vietnam War.

Donald Jack Wright, a Vietnam War veteran awarded with the Purple Heart by the Department of Veterans Affairs, has completed his new book, “My Vietnam Story and Service in the United States Marines”: a stirring autobiography of the author’s life as a soldier servicing in the Vietnam War.

Donald writes, “Throughout my service in South Vietnam from September 20, 1968, until October 20, 1969, as a member of Alpha Company 1/7 1st Marine Division, I was engaged in many battles. I do not clearly recall exactly how many I participated in. Several of the battles which I remember well and had lasting impressions on me are included in this book. Those are Operation Mead River, Operation Lynn River, Tet Offensive Season, Operation Oklahoma Hills, and The Memorial Day Weekend Battle of 1969. In addition to the battles, our company was in many other conflicts, operations, rescue missions, and security details.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Donald Jack Wright’s new book inspires an appreciation for soldiers for their unbound sacrifice and dedication to their county and people.

This book exudes willpower, courage, and faith in times of conflict that truly are a soldier’s resolve.
