Jay Santiago's New Book, "Jesus Short Stories" is a Religious Opus That Sheds Light on the Parables of Jesus Christ and Their Underlying Messages.

Recent release "Jesus Short Stories" from Covenant Books author Jay Santiago is an insightful book that delves into the hidden meanings behind Jesus's parables and their resounding impact in Christian belief.

Jay Santiago, a college graduate who signed up for a three-year service to the country as an AmeriCorps VISTA, has completed his new book, “Jesus Short Stories”: a well-written narrative that aims to expound on the teachings ingrained in Christ’s parables in the hopes of giving insight to readers about their faith and spirituality.

A fundamental question asked by the church leaders regarding Jesus was, "How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?" Jay attempts to answer this with, “Let’s make sense of the Synoptic Gospels timeline together. Here the only places where two or three are in agreement is that Jesus was born, Jesus returned to Nazareth, and Jesus was baptized. But this doesn’t answer the question. Let’s look a bit closer for other clues. It is worth noting that Mark’s Gospel begins with the Baptism of Jesus. It is Matthew and Luke that give birth stories about Jesus. Matthew’s Gospel gives a birth story of Jesus with the visit from the wise men, the escape to Egypt, and the return from Egypt to Nazareth. Luke’s Gospel gives the birth story of Jesus with the visit from the shepherds and angels, the presentation in the temple, with all of a sudden, Jesus returning to Nazareth. Let’s look closer still for any additional clues.'
