Susan A. Penta's New Book 'Suzy and the Witch' is a Heartwarming Tale That Shares the Newfound Friendship Between Suzy and a Witch

Recent release "Suzy and the Witch" from Covenant Books author Susan A. Penta is a touching children's story that follows Suzy, a young joyful girl who meets the woman living in a seemingly haunted house that everyone was scared of.

Susan A. Penta, a retired second-grade teacher, is a mother of four and lives with her husband in Massachusetts. She has completed her new book, “Suzy and the Witch”: a wonderful illustrated tale that tells the adventure of young Suzy as she finds a new friend in Flora, an old woman that everyone was avoiding as she is believed to be a witch.

Susan writes, “Love thy neighbor as thyself...but what if that neighbor is a witch? The house on Myrtle Street was tattered and worn and overgrown with weeds, giving it a haunted appearance. The old lady living inside was only seen peeking out the window or wandering around in her backyard. Everyone believed she was a witch. Suzy and the Witch is a true story about eight-year-old Suzy and the valuable lesson she learns about judging people before you really know them.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Susan A. Penta’s new book is a meaningful narrative that brings a beautiful lesson, for kids and adults alike, of not judging people’s character especially when one does not really know them yet.

Readers can purchase “Suzy and the Witch” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
