He lost all of his fingernails and had the most skin removed from his right shoulder. All of the doctors, however, were saying that it was a miracle that he was even alive. They said to have as much bleeding as he did when his leg was severed, not to mention all of the other body parts that were bleeding as well, was impossible. Yet, he was alive and he truly believed that God had spared him for a purpose.”
